WHAT'S INCLUDED
Does the price include free 24 hour transfer from the hotel to Gatwick
Airport?
Yes we operate our own minibus which leaves on the hour and every half
an hour as early as you need to get to the airport, this service is booked
on check when you arrive at Gatwick Belmont hotel.
Does the price include a free transfer from Gatwick Airport to the hotel?
Yes we collect from Gatwick Airport North or South terminal between 9am
to 9pm, there is a free phone at either terminal that you call us from
and we then send our mini bus out to collect you, please go to our Gatwick
Airport Transfers Page www.gatwickbelmont.co.uk/courtesy-pick-up for how to
arrange this service.
How late can I check in to your hotel?
You can check in as late as you require. We have a night supervisor and
your reservation is secured by credit card so it will not be sold to
anyone else.
I am arriving very late will there still be someone there to let me in?
Yes, someone will be present all night.
Can I leave my car at your hotel whilst on holiday?

TRANSPORT
How do we get to the hotel from Gatwick between 9pm to 9am?
Airport taxis are available 24 hours a day from either Gatwick Airport
terminal and will only cost £6.50. Alternatively, you can call
a local taxi on 01293 430 430, 01293 820 820 or 01293 429 429).
How do I arrange collection from either terminal?
There is a specific collection point at each terminal and a free phone to call
to be collected. Please go to our Gatwick Airport Transfers Page www.gatwickbelmont.co.uk/courtesy-pick-up for further details. We will endeavour to collect you within 15 minutes. Our
minibus holds 8 passengers, so if you are arriving at the airport in a larger
group we will ask help from another local Gatwick hotel.
Can your Aiport Transfer vehicle fit ski's and large sports equipment?
Yes, golf clubs will fit in the boot and ski’s, snowboards & surfboards
can slid along the top of the seats.
I arrive by train, coach or plane in to Gatwick Airport. How do I get
to the Gatwick Belmont hotel?
We will collect from Gatwick between 9am to 9pm. Please visit our Gatwick Airport

Express, regular train, coach, bus or plain all arrive in Gatwick Airport itself,
so please use the same collection details for all.
How do I get to London or Brighton from Gatwick Belmont hotel?
Horley train station in Sussex is an 8 minute walk from Gatwick Belmont hotel
and there is a regular train service in to London Victoria and to Brighton.

How far is Gatwick Belmont hotel from Gatwick Airport North and South
terminal?
Just 5 minutes away from either terminal! We are 1 mile away from the
aiport and the journey only takes five minutes by car. Even at peak times,
the longest the journey to either terminal should take is 15 minutes.
Is Gatwick Belmont hotel in the flight path?
No, we are not in the flight path – you are very unlikely to hear
any aircraft noise and we set far back from the road so traffic noise
is not a problem either.
How far is the local town?
The local West Sussex town of Horley is only a five minute walk from Gatwick
Belmont hotel.
How far are local pubs and restaurants?
A 5 minute walk.
Does the local town have a post office and banks with currency exchange?
Yes, the banks and post office are open 9am to 5pm weekdays and 9am to 1pm on
a Saturday – they are closed on Bank Holidays & Sundays.
Does the local town have launderette and dry cleaning?
Yes – Horley’s laundarette and dry cleaners are usually open Monday
to Saturday, from 9am to 9pm.

Are your hotel prices very competitive?
Yes, we like to think our prices are very competitive and great value compared
to most other hotel and guest houses in the Gatwick vicinity! Please use the

Do your hotel/ B&B accommodate all
types of travellers leaving or arriving from Gatwick?
Yes, we provide comfortable bed and breakfast/ guest house accommodation
for all types of travellers; holiday makers, business and corporate clients
and also for people working in the area, or those simply requiring airport
or holiday car parking while you are away. The services are complemented
by free airport transfers and an authentic style bar restaurant.
Do you have smoking rooms?
No we are fully non–smoking – however, there is a patio area
at the back of the bar where you can smoke.
How many bedrooms does the Gatwick Belmont Hotel have?
We have 18 bedrooms of various combinations, including ground and first
floor. We don’t have a lift, so if you prefer ground floor please
request this at the time of booking.
Do the bedrooms have there own bathroom?
Most are en-suite, we do have some standard bedrooms with shared bathrooms,
which are cheaper. This is made clear at time of booking.
What is the different between a standard or en suite room?
A standard room shares a bathroom with another room along the corridor
and en suite has its own bathroom.
Do you have hair dryers in the rooms?
We supply them on request – please ask at reception.
Do you have an iron & ironing board?
We supply this on request, just ask at reception.
Does the Gatwick hotel offer room service?
No, unfortunately we do not offer room service nor do we allow food to
be consumed in the rooms. Our competitive prices reflect this.
Do you have disabled rooms?
No, but we do have easy access ground floor rooms.
Is the Gatwick Belmont hotel cleaned regularly?
Yes spotlessly, every room is fully cleaned every day, we use an outside
laundry company for all our linen and towels which means it’s
new and fresh all the time.
Do you have ground floor rooms at the Gatwick Belmont hotel?
Yes, about half of our hotel bedrooms are on ground floor.

Does the price include free full English breakfast at the Gatwick Belmont
hotel?
Yes, the English breakfast is hot buffet self service and a continental breakfast
for early airport departures is available at any time of the morning.
What times is the breakfast served?
Full English breakfast is served from 7am to 8.45am weekdays & 7.30am to
8.45am weekends & continental breakfast at any time for early departures
Does the Gatwick Belmont hotel have a pub restaurant on site?
Yes we have an authentic style pub restaurant offering a great selection of traditional
English meals served from 6pm to 10pm and the bar is open late for drinks. Please

Do you serve lunch?
No, but you can walk to the local town of Horley where there is a good selection
of pubs & restaurants.
Is the hotel bar open during the day?
Yes the bar lounge is open all day and is a very comfortable place to relax,
read, and have a drink, or wait for your Airport taxi collection.
Are children allowed in the bar?
Yes, all Gatwick hotel residence are allowed in the bar.

Does the price include free wireless internet?
Yes, in the main area of the building.
What is the standard check in time?
Midday.
My flight arrives in to Gatwick Airport early morning – can I check
in early?
Early check-in can be requested: the earliest possible time is 10am,
the official check in time is Midday but we will endeavour to get your
room ready as early as possible. Of course, you are more than welcome
to wait in our very comfortable bar lounge until the room is ready.
What is the check out time?
10am, the latest this can be extended to is 11am – after that you will
have to reserve for another day.
I am not flying until later in the day – can I leave my luggage with
you until I fly?
Yes, we can store you luggage throughout the day until you fly.
Do you offer luggage storage while I am away?
Yes, we do charge £1 per item per day.
Do you accept pets in your hotel?
No, definitely no pets allowed.
Are children welcome?
Yes children of all ages are welcome at our hotel – we have family rooms
for 3, 4 or even 5.
Do you have lifts?
No, but ground floor rooms can be requested. About 50% of our rooms are
ground floor.
Does the price include free use of a PC connected to the internet?
Yes we have a PC at the back of the restaurant which can be used 24 hours
a day and is completely free.
What is your cancellation policy?
24 hours after which time 100% of the first nights stay will be charged this
also applies to NO SHOWS.
